Redondo Beach Christmas Boat Parade in King Harbor is an annual tradition filled with holiday cheer, sparkling lights and star power. Meteorologist Rick Dickert who provides the weather, traffic and breaking news from SkyFox during the FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day L.A will wave hello to you. In 2000 Rick earned a Golden Mike Award for best traffic reporter in Los Angeles. He also accumulated a number of Emmys for his segment producing on Good Day L.A.  Our friends at King Harbor Yacht Club and the King Harbor Business Association have partnered with Five Acres and will be collecting donations to benefit Five Acres' programs.

Combining the love of California beaches and waterways with the spirit of celebration, dedicated yachtsmen spend thousands of dollars on intricate lighting systems to deck out their boats and yachts for the annual King Harbor Christmas Parade. The seaworthy vessels within the channel follow a route that sweeps past vantage points where the public can watch the spectacular display of colors, designs and themes, often tied to the Southern California lifestyle.
