Each classroom has multiple computers, linked school-wide by wireless routers.  Computers allow for special education centers, filtered Internet access, and the implementation of several school-wide instructional programs (described below).

9000 volume Reading Renaissance library, with 1000 books in each of our 9 classrooms.  Computer software for STAR Diagnostic Reading Test, along with comprehension tests for all 9000 titles.  Networked system of student computers connects entire library in every classroom.

Kidspiration 3:  Created for K-5 learners, provides an easy way to apply the proven principles of visual learning.

Inspiration (6-12): a tool students rely on to plan, research and complete projects successfully. With the integrated Diagram and Outline Views, they create graphic organizers and expand topics into writing. This powerful combination encourages learning in multiple modes. As a result, students gain and retain a better understanding of concepts and demonstrate knowledge, improving their performance across the curriculum.

Accelerated Math

From Renaissance Learning, Accelerated Math’s advanced technology helps teachers provide the essential math practice component of our math curriculum.  That classroom-proven software creates math assignments tailored to each student’s level; automatically scores all math practice, including assignments and tests, provides ongoing feedback on students’ daily practice, and helps teachers differentiate math instruction, addressing each student’s individual needs.

Student computer memory chip upgrades

Addition of 1GB 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC2700 memory modules to each student computer.  Needed for addition of Accelerated Math program.

Tha allow for high-speed, color print-outs for Reading Renaissance & Accelerated Math programs.
